Objectives of Highway Seminars -

  • Identify strongholds of fear and mistrust which inhibit learning
  • Identify and fill areas of need, emptiness, loneliness, and godly desires
  • Identify and remove strongholds of unbelief and lies about self, God, & others
  • Provide alternative perspectives and interpretations of life from which to choose
  • Provide opportunities for change through the power of choice and decision-making
  • Identify and analyze challenges related to change through exchanges
  • Evaluate the role of communication and information in healthy relationships
  • Develop skills which enhance productive, effective communication
  • Encourage personal accountability and responsibility
  • Identify destructive mind sets and attitudes which encourage life-long victimization
  • Provide opportunities to give and receive personal ministry through personal gifting
     
  • Build healthy, respectful, relationships which have clear, healthy, boundaries
  • Identify areas of hard-heartedness and emotional insensitivity
  • Examine hindrances to sympathy, empathy, compassion and mercy
  • Examine one’s belief system, life-style, and personal confessions of faith in light of standards contained in Scripture
  • Examine personal and corporate evaluations of identity.
