Children's Ministry
Purpose
Capstone Children’s Ministry exists to provide a loving, nurturing and safe environment in which to teach our children the importance of a personal relationship with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
Objective
To partner with parents, family members and the church body in instilling a deep-seated desire to:
- Love Christ (Know)
- Live for Christ (serve)
- Lead others to Christ (evangelize)
Approach
A positive, innovative and relevant learning experience that is fresh and fun.
Spiritual Development Plan
Pre-set, age specific goals aimed at producing obedient disciples of Christ.
Preschool Goals (Impact Kids)
- Basic Bible Knowledge
- Introduction to Prayer and Worship
- Importance of Obedience to God and Authority
- Importance of Forgiveness
Elementary Goals (Kids Under Construction)
- Life Application of Biblical Principles - developing biblical character
- Introduction to Service (to one another)
- Importance of Worship
- Introduction to the Working of the Holy Spirit
Pre-teen Goals (Route 56)
- Biblical Life Skills - how to live a biblically relevant life
- Service to the Church Family
- Developing a Biblical Worldview
- Introduction to Missions and Outreach
We also have a fully equipped nursery (Infants thru 3yrs)
Service times: Sunday mornings @ 10:00am, Wednesday evenings @ 7:00pm.
Special Note: For the safety of our children and for the convenience and peace of mind of our parents we utilize an electronic check-in and pager system.
